Scotch & Soda in Springfield

Very cool bar with tons of spirits on the menu. Went on Saturday night and was crowded but not terribly packed. Great cocktails. Not many beers on tap but it’s a cocktail place. Bathroom situation is not ideal and they need a few more than 2. Friendly staff.

Beautiful spot. Terrible service. Bartenders were extremely rude. We have never been treated so poorly in our life. 10 out of 10 would NOT recommend.

We have been here 4 times now hoping we'll ever have a good experience. We're done trying. The service is sssslllooowww and drinks are overpriced. I don't say that lightly as I'm not afraid to pay a hefty price for a well made drink but the drinks are just mediocre at best and if you ever DO get served it's terrible, not friendly service. Writing this one off forever. It's not going to improve apparently.

Great service. Amazing handcrafted cocktails...on tap of all things. Me and my wife had the #2 expecting it to be decent at best and the layers of flavor blew our minds. Absolutely fantastic! I can not recommend this place enough. Instant regulars. The atmosphere, the vibes, the drinks... it's everything you want and more.

Great drinks on the pricey side. Great location and ambience. We had a meat and cheese platter which was excellent. We each ordered food. The fish entree and the egg salad were very nice. The steak and chimichurri toast was very good as well. But two of us ordered the butternut soup and it was odd. It's almost like a dip. Very thick consistency like refried beans. Not what I was expecting at all for a soup. Not a fan.

Was initially concerned it was going to be all cocktails but they also had a good local beer selection.

I love seeing chartreuse repeatedly on a menu, a great cocktail list, and a liquor library in a bookshelf with a sliding ladder.

Beer was cold. Appetizer is very quaint, although delicious. Arugula, toast, beets, and goat cheese.

Over 300+ scotches to choose from.That's all you need need to know about this gem located in downtown Bentonville. Scotch & Soda is a must-see for anyone visiting (or living in) Bentonville or the surrounding NW Arkansas region. The staff is friendly, prices are $$-$$$, and the drink selection is simply unmatched. Even in larger cities, I have not found any bars with a selection as well-selected and diverse as Scotch & Soda. For those new to scotches, the staff takes their time in answering any questions one may have. For the casual visitor, S&S serves as an excellent (and classy) place to go for drinks.Pro-tip: Make sure to sign up for their (free) challenge. Drink 100 scotches off their list and you'll get a discount there FOR life. Easier said than done as last time I checked, only one person has completed that challenge.5/5.

Excellent selection of quality liquors and other beverages on tap. Staff was very knowledgeable and was way able to offer excellent recommendations based on what I liked and the brief conversation we had.

It's expensive, so be prepared. But go try a plethora of great scotchs that you would normally never buy because they'd be too much at the store.

Expensive. Super cool and speakeasy-esque with it's library ladder and wall of spirits. Pictured is the garden blossom, an Asian inspired summer cocktail with gin. The charcuterie looks really good but is off the charts expensive. Good for vacay, not for on the reg.

This is a go to for us in bentonville! They created such a great atmosphere to meet up with friends and enjoy some of the finest drinks in town. I always order the black bean hummus from the kitchen and a scotch flight from the bar. They have a seemingly endless selection of great scotches. Before I started down the scotch path I enjoyed their cocktails over most other joints. Highly recommended.

Scotch & Soda is always a good time. Amazing whisky selection and great pricing. Cocktails have also been great the past couple seasons. Currently featuring a barrel proof small batch selection from Four Roses that was fantastic!

We visited Scotch and Soda on a Saturday night and sat at the end of the bar. We had two bartenders assist us and really enjoyed our time. The music was awesome and the environment was low key yet fancyish. The low lighting and the decor was also fantastic. You could dress up or down and either would work. The selection is beyond enough . We ordered a flight of bourbon and also described to the bartender qualities I like in my cocktail and left the rest up to him. we loved it! Prices are very reasonable. We will be back next time we are in town.

Loved the location. Tried the sazerac and the Death and Folly. The decor was great but you don't go to a whiskey bar for the decor you go for the experience and liquor. The selection of whiskey was extensive.

Great atmosphere! Broad drink menu for those who know and those who just like to try! Different flight and cocktail options. Even a “bartender’s pick” of a shot, beer, and cocktail of their choosing. The cheese plate was to die for as well.

Prices are higher than average. Their happy hour cocktail prices are decent for the quality of drinks they provide. Food is average. You go here for a nice drink and ambiance.
